The World Trade Center Neighborhood encompasses the WTC site as well as the surrounding buildings in Downtown Manhattan (including the World Financial Center complex).

The 9/11 Attacks destroyed most of the WTC as everyone knows, however other buildings in the area are still labeled under this neighborhood. Furthermore, there are very high incentives and tax breaks to bring business back to the area as soon as these buildings get rebuilt (and for buildings surrounding the site). The case in point is 7 World Trade, which is the newest building in Manhattan, and arguably the nicest. It has the most modern design, as well as new protection mechanisms in case of attack. The subsidies issued by the government to rebuild the area have helped make the WTC Area, and to a lesser extent all of Downtown into a place where the best office space in the city can be had for cheap. Class A Office Space in this area commonly goes for half of what it goes for in Midtown.

While the site is not currently totally rebuilt, clients should not be reluctant to relocate to 7 WTC or any surrounding building. The subsidies make it very profitable for corporations to do so, and the best large corporate space in the city can be found here. The site's profile will only increase when and if the rest of the buildings get built, and Optimal Spaces can be there to make it easy to jump from Midtown to Downtown and take advantage of the price gap. Finally, transportation is a breeze with the Path train running directly from the WTC Site, as well as several subway lines converging in the local vicinity.
