Belmont House, a mansion built in 1909 for socialite Alva Belmont. This neoclassical three-story townhouse featured a limestone facade and eclectic interior styles. Notably, it included a large room called The Armory, which was an exact replica of the Gothic Room in Belcourt Castle, used to house Oliver Belmont's medieval and early Renaissance armor collection. The Armory later served as a lecture hall for women suffragists.

The mansion was sold in 1923 and later used by Catholic Charities until it was demolished in 1951. Following its demolition, the site was used as a parking lot before being developed into a new building.
