303 West 42nd Street in Manhattan, NYC, has a rich history. Initially, the site was home to a three-story wooden house owned by James and Mary O'Reilly. In February 1887, the Home Bank purchased this property for $10,000 to expand its operations. The bank built a one-story bank building with a two-story rear section, designed by Thom & Wilson, and completed it in 1888. This structure was significant in the development of the area, then part of Hell’s Kitchen.

In 1928, a new 12-story building was constructed on the site, originally as The Corn Exchange Bank. Over the years, the building underwent significant changes. By the late 20th century, the area was known for its association with Richard Basciano's Show World Center, a prominent adult entertainment business.

In recent years, the building at 303 West 42nd Street was redeveloped into Hive 42, part of The Hive complex, which includes an adjacent building at 300 West 43rd Street. This transformation turned the site into a modern office and retail space, marking a significant shift away from its previous use and towards a more contemporary commercial purpose.

303 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036, is also known as 669 Eighth Ave. It is a 12-story plus penthouse office building located in the heart of Manhattan, positioned at the intersection of West 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, at the nexus of Times Square and Hell's Kitchen.

The building was originally constructed as The Corn Exchange Bank in 1928. It is part of The Hive, a redevelopment project that includes 303 West 42nd Street and 300 West 43rd Street. The complex is undergoing an $80 million renovation to modernize the office space, featuring new facades, windows, skylights, and refreshed interior elements.

303 W 42nd St benefits from its proximity to major subway lines and bus routes, offering excellent connectivity throughout New York City.
