The building's deteriorated marble facade was replaced with a ventilated metal panel rain screen system coupled with an intricate lattice of aluminum fins and exterior lighting. This re-cladding aimed to refresh the building’s street presence, integrating a double-height steel storefront at ground level while retaining the building's status as a prominent commercial and retail location. The modernization project was designed by Yoshihara Mckee Architects and managed by Tishman, under the ownership of the Singaporean lender United Overseas Bank, which also serves as a primary tenant.
