210 Fifth Avenue, located between 25th and 26th Streets in Manhattan, has a rich history. Originally, the site was home to the Hoffman mansion, where prominent families like the Hoffmans resided. However, by the turn of the 20th century, the neighborhood had transitioned to a more commercial area, leading the Hoffman family to replace their mansion with a new building.

In 1901, a agreement was made to construct a 10-story building designed in the Beaux Arts style by architect John B. Snook. The project was completed in 1903 and featured a striking marble facade with iron balconies and a mansard roof. The building's design was notable for its French-inspired details, including cartouches and copper-clad dormers.

During World War I, the building hosted offices for the American Ambulance in Italy and the Food Embargo Committee. In the 1970s, it housed notable entities such as The New York Age magazine and an underground nightclub called The 210 Club. By 2015, the top floors had been converted into nine residential condominiums by architect Joseph Pell Lombardi, while retaining much of its original architectural grandeur.

Today, 210 Fifth Avenue is part of the Madison Square North Historic District and continues to be admired for its opulent Beaux Arts design.
