1585 Broadway, also known as the Morgan Stanley Building, is a 42-story office building located in the Theater District of Manhattan, New York City. It was designed by Emery Roth & Sons and Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects and developed by Solomon Equities Inc.

The building was constructed between 1989 and 1990 on the site of the Strand Theatre and Leighton's Haberdashers and Clothiers. Initially developed as a speculative project, it faced financial challenges after completion. Law firm Proskauer Rose was the first major tenant, occupying eleven floors.

In 1993, Morgan Stanley acquired the building and moved in after renovations. The building has served as Morgan Stanley's headquarters since 1995. Proskauer Rose continued to occupy part of the building until 2010, after which Morgan Stanley expanded into the former space.

The building features a Postmodernist design with a low base and a tower section reaching 685 feet. The facade includes large signs at the base and a glass and aluminum spandrel design on the upper stories. The interior was designed by Gwathmey Siegel and Gensler.

In 1998, the building received the BOMA Award, and it underwent a major restoration in 2000.
