1500 Broadway, located at the northeast corner of West 43rd Street to West 44th Street in Manhattan's Times Square, has a rich history. The site was once home to the Hotel Rector, a 16-story hotel designed by D. H. Burnham & Co. and opened in 1910. It featured a renowned restaurant, Rector's, which was a favorite among theatergoers.
