近年来，这些建筑在内部拆除工作中暴露出严重的结构问题，砖墙立面与主体墙体分离，导致政府下令为安全起见对部分立面进行拆除和重建。施工中，历史材料（如原始面砖）被移除、清理、编号并存档，以备未来重新安装。这些建筑因其建筑与历史价值，被列为Gansevoort Market历史街区保护对象，是曼哈顿仅存的19世纪中叶坡屋顶联排屋之一。

目前，这些建筑正在由BKSK Architects操刀进行整改与扩建，包括对受保护联排屋的修复以及在其上加建新的办公空间。改造保留了坡屋顶设计，并增添了木质百叶窗、二层小阳台等新元素，实现了历史保护与现代商业用途（如办公与零售）的有机结合，尊重了街区的历史肌理。
