History of 1560 Broadway, Manhattan, NYC

1560 Broadway, also known as the Actors' Equity Building, is a historic 17-story office building located in the heart of Times Square, Midtown Manhattan. It was built in 1925 and designed by the Bethlehem Engineering Corporation. The building sits on the east side of Seventh Avenue between West 46th and West 47th Streets, with its main entrance on West 46th Street.

Originally constructed as a commercial office tower totaling approximately 271,000 square feet, 1560 Broadway has played a prominent role in the Theater District and Times Square.
